Complete Privacy on two acres. This is the island to get away from it all!! Two thousand square feet of home with private decks and stunning ocean views from every room in the house!! In the winter you can sit on the decks off the living room or master bedroom and watch the whales play. (Humpback whales migrate to Hawaii from Alaska and elsewhere beginning in December and leave by early April.) There are three bedrooms with three bathrooms, a very large living/dining room, a large eat-in kitchen with breakfast nook and all amenities. Molokai is the most unspoiled and least commercial of all the islands in the Hawaiian chain. Everything is very low key and laid back on this island. It boasts the tallest waterfall and the longest, most pristine white sand beach in all the islands. Use this home as your base to explore the entire island.
The Master bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser, two night tables, desk with chair, and a large walk in closet. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The third bedroom has two antique single beds. In addition the living room sofas can also be used as two single beds. Please call owner at 415-491-4567 if you need more information or email us. Life in Molokai can be too quiet for some people. There are very few restaurants, and little no night life There is live music nightly at the Molokai hotel and on Sat nights we have jazz, and on Sunday afternoons a free hula show at the Coffee plantation. You can also visit a Macadamia nut farm . But mostly it is you and extraordinary nature and a real get away from it all.
Our neighborhood is a development of two acre lots called Kawela Plantation . We are 4.5 miles from the town of Kaunankakai which has a few grocery stores, an art gallery with wonderful artwork, a hardware store, a wonderful ice cream store called Dave's, a bicycle shop, a dive store, etc., and Kalele Bookstore with the world's friendliest owner who always has all sorts of special interest events. The main street of Molokai is quaint and charming with the feel of "small town USA". There is little traffic on the island, unlike the other islands no traffic lights, just a few stop signs. People say it is the way Maui used to be 30 years ago.
My husband and I swim at the local pool every day; there are public tennis courts if you are a tennis player. You can hike or pay someone to take you sailing. Often we just sit on our lanai and look at the ocean and read a good book. There are 2 daily ferries to Maui (Lahaina), which you can visit for the day or stay overnight if you are seeking more action.

My husband John and I are both 60 and retired. My name is Roshani. I worked in the film industry in Hollywood but retired several years ago. We love to travel, visit museums, read, study, cook and meet people. We have started to practice Permaculture on our two acres and hope to have a thriving food forest within the next three years. We can travel almost any time of the year and are open to all offers.
