Beautiful home, just down the street from the beautiful wide Silver Strand beach known for world class body surfing and just a few minutes from a lovely yacht marina. The house sleeps 4-5 comfortably, two bedroom, family room (can be used as bedroom), 2.5 baths, living room, laundry facility and driveway parking. Multiple decks some with water views; ~ 2,200 sqf (200 sqm) with spacious open bright and cheerful floor plan.
In addition, there is a computer with broadband internet connection, wi-fi, large screen plasma TV with high definition TV and surround sound. A small painting studio and a grand piano. A car can be included. The house has plenty of towels and bed linen. The town is relatively small and quiet with village like atmosphere. Wonderful beaches stretch for miles north and south of the town. There are plenty of shops within 1-2 km where you can purchase everything.
The area offers superb swiming, surfing hiking and bike riding along the beach and in the surrounding hillsides.
Sailboats, electric boats and kayaks are available for rent closeby in the harbor as are wet suits. Deep seas fishing, whale watching cruises and cruises to the Channel Islands National Parks wilderness areas ( http://www.nps. gov/chis/index.htm) are also available within close-by. (We have two bikes and a kayak for your use). There are multiple shopping areas nearby, including a premium outlet center Beautiful upscale shopping malls in Santa Barbara and Ventura all within 20-40 minutes away by car.
Los Angeles, Hollywood and Universal Studios are 60-75 minutes south, Disneyland is two hours south. Santa Barbara is 40 minutes north, J. Paul Getty Museum and the new Disney concert hall just an hour away.
Just beyond Santa Barbara, you'll find a long strech of coast and hillsides dotted with multiple, wonderful wineries, and the quaint towns of Los Osos and Ojai which offer many wonderful art galleries.
A train station with Amtrak and commuter train service to Los Angeles service is located 15 minutes away by car, but a car is really a must for most travel in Southern California.
