We live in a quiet residential community north of downtown San Diego. Our house overlooks a canyon with a beautiful view and glimpse of the ocean. We are less than 2 miles to the ocean and an easy drive to downtown San Diego, La Jolla, Mexico, Los Angeles, Disneyland, and the mountains. Our 2 story home will accommodate 5 people. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom. 2 other bedroom are used as a den and an office and there is a full bath nearby. The den has a queen sized sofa bed with a top of the line mattress. The office can accommodate our queen sized automatic blow-up mattress. We have a brand new twin sized sofabed in the downstairs family room. The living space is large, airy and graciously decorated. There is a piano, 2 dining areas (one in the kitchen) and the newly remodeled kitchen has every gadget imaginable. On our patio is a Weber natural gas grill, a picnic table that can easily accommodate 6 people, and a pair of chaise lounges. We have ceiling fans in all the important rooms and also central air conditioning which is rarely needed because we get a nice breeze from the ocean.

Our neighborhood of 90 homes has all cul-de-sac streets - no through traffic. There is a community pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, and parkland areas. Nearby for surfers, sun bathers, and beach walkers is the Pacific Ocean. San Diego county is noted for its many public golf courses (including world famous Torrey Pines) amd we are within 30 minutes drive of about 20 of them. We are also within easy driving distance of the many San Diego attractions such as the zoo, wild animal park, Old Town, San Diego bay, Legoland, Sea World, USCD, Balboa Park, La Jolla, Coronado, Mexico,etc., etc. For information about San Diego, go to http://entertainment.signonsandiego.com Something about ourselves

Ron is retired from an east coast think tank and stays busy with golf, travel, and cooking. Suzanne is an administrator at an independent college prep school in La Jolla. We are non smokers and prefer to exchange with same. A car exchange is possible with adequate insurance protection.
