Description of our house
Lake Tahoe is a year-round resort community. The house is in good shape and recently remodeled with new hardwood floors, carpeting, bathroom tile, interior doors, and interior paint. Winter skiing is literally 5 minutes from here at Heavenly, and summer activities along the lake are abundant. Casinos and night life are 1.5 miles away. Heavy tourist periods are Christmas, mid-February, and July 4th. Otherwise, the traffic and crowds are manageable on weekends, and non-existent on weekdays.

Our neighborhoodAll single family homes in the neighborhood, and very few rental homes (none next to my property). My neighbors are friendly and helpful. Some are snowbirds and fly away during the winter to warmer climes. I live up here all year. Snow removal service is provided by the local community, and weekly garbage pickup is pre-arranged through the local contractor.

Something about ourselvesI am a single white male, divorced, with one child in college. My work is mostly email, Internet, and telephone, and it travels with me wherever I go. Lately, I have done home swaps in Argentina (Buenos Aires), and Israel, and both experiences have been excellent.
