We are located north of Golden Gate Park (nice bike ride) and just south of the exclusive Sea Cliff neighborhood which sits above Baker and China Beaches and below Lincoln Park (playground, golf course, California Palace of the Legion of Honor, hiking trails, spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge). The three streets to our south, California, Clement, and Geary, are "high streets" (major shopping, restaurant, and services corridors, each with a bus line downtown to all tourist attractions). Easy approach to Golden Gate Bridge for drive to redwoods, wine country, rugged coast to the north, and to the south you can drive inland or down the coast to Monterey/Carmel, or across to Yosemite. We are very interested in a long exchange in London. We are open to as long as nine months if you need the academic year. We enjoyed an exchange of 3-1/2 months in New Malden and would be very happy again in a location at the end of the tube or within a short train ride of the centre.

In 2014 we would like to spend a couple weeks in Zurich, Geneva, or Vienna, either spring or fall.

We appreciate, and always answer, inquiries from places which we have not mentioned, but it is unlikely we would accept an exchange.

Two travellers: Dick (69) is retired; Paula (67), semi-retired, works half-time for the San Francisco City Attorney. We have two grown sons. Our younger son, Brian, still lives in the City, works as a firefighter, and can provide assistance while you are here. Children, school schedules permitting, are welcome. We have had several exchanges with families with small, pre-school children. Our house has a secret room filled with toys and books. We no longer have pets but are happy to care for yours. Automobile not needed, and we do not own one. Take reasonable care of our bicycles and make good use of them.
