Description of our house

Lovely townhouse with large patio up to a green area for walking/tennis/swimming 10 min. from airport, shopping, museums, major league Spring Training sites,two hrs. from Sedona, 3 hrs from Grand Canyon and access to various golfing courses as well as 4 hrs to Las Vegas. Although lots to offer is like a small community. Huge Park system is close and wonderful. Weather spectacular except in Summer due to heat. One floor bright and open with skylights and large main rooms. Nicely furnished with sofa bed in one bedroom. Fully carpeted and tiled throughout. Lots of windowns and patio doors open to patio. Washer and dryer in 2 car garage with door opener. We love our home but do not mind sharing it with others as we really enjoy traveling to different countries. Am sure you would find everything you need to enjoy yourselves. Be glad to answer any questions and welcome you as can vacate to other home while you enjoy this one. Let us hear from you .

Our neighborhood

Many like one floor townhouses that are joined at the garages so as to insure no noise from neighbors. All outside greenery is trimmed for you and patio has desert vegetation with a locked gate. Front entrance has a security door as many do. Not a gated community but safe. Green walkway outside patio gate that almost connects to huge park system for biking, rollerblading, walking, jogging, etc. Some young families in area but mostly are retired or working couples who watch out for each other. Can walk to grocery store, post office, shopping, and churches. Very central to a community center, arts, and movies as well as good eating establishments.

Something about ourselves

My husband and I are a retired teacher and nurse Dale taught World Cultures in Highschool and coached varsity baseball for 32 years prior to "the good life". WE have 3 children who are grown and thriving. Raised our family in Pennsyvania but moved out West to experience motorhoming and outdoor Would put pictures on but nactivities year round. Golf and tennis and working out are Dales main interests as well as sports. Swimming and walking as well as meditation are Carol's interests as well as jewelry making. We are very active and leave every Summer due to heat in our motorhome.."Big Bertha" to travel to the Northern part of Idaho where we enjoy a lovely Summer in lovely climate. Are told we are very laid back and easy to be around but do not need social activities to entertain us. Our health is good and want to travel while we can take full advantage of places to visit. Our goal is to see as many countries as we can as long as we can. That seems to be what matters most to us.
