Prescott Valley is only 1.5 hour drive from Phoenix but 20 degrees cooler at 5500ft elevation, it is only a short drive (15min) from downtown Prescott. Prescott has a quaint downtown area with a courthouse where there are art shows every weekend, nightly bands/dancing and other various entertainment from May-September. Hiking, and mountain biking are popular activities here and there are places to fish. Many people look to retire here because of the weather and the many golf courses. The historic whiskey row is worth a visit. We have many antique stores, and various unique little restaurants and bars.
Something about ourselves
My name is Joanne my husband Brian and I live to travel. We are always planning the next adventure. Now days we tote 2 children... Olivia a busy well travelled 4 year old and Jayden a busy 2 year old. At times, Brian's teenage stepdaughter travels also. Our children are great and love to explore new places as much as us. We are both Doctors of Chiropractic and while we have a busy schedule we try to escape as often as possible. We are excited about the opportunity to swap houses we did our first exchange this summer visiting NYC and loved it!. We love our home and take good care of it and we assure you we would do the same with yours.
