Description of our house
This is our holiday home perched in the hills above the very select village of Kalkan. There are amazing views and fantastic sunsets. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing, chill-out holiday. Pool and sunbeds, fully fitted kitchen, roof terrace with barbeque, large, spacious bedrooms - king and twin rooms are en suite. Verandahs and seating areas where you can sit and recharge the batteries.

Our neighborhoodA peaceful area nestling in the lower hills of the Taurus Mountains. The area is made up of about a dozen villas - some are holiday lets some are lived in by Turkish families. There is always a pleasant breeze which helps especially in the high summer when temperatures reach 40C. Kalkan is a harbourside village and has some amazing restaurants. Shopping in Turkey is great fun with prices for leather goods quite low. There are many archeaological/historical/ancient sites and places to visit around the Kalkan area - many places of interest. Patara Beach (recognised as one of the best in the world) is 20 minutes away - 18KM of stunning golden sand and warm, shallow sea - perfect for children.

Something about ourselvesMy name is Jayne and I am a teacher in a girls school. I have 2 daughters - one still at home aged 19. I am would like to plan a summer holiday for the first 2 weeks of August 08 so would like to home swap using my home in Turkey. The swap can be non simultaneous if our holiday villa is used. I am limited to August for holiday. I am a teacher and this is really the only time I can travel. I live in Devon (this property -our home- could be used in the swap if you would prefer) in the UK and might consider using this home as part of a swap.
