Description of our house
The chalet is not available for exchange in winter due to active family use, otherwise it's possible to arrange an exchange the rest of the year.
Our typical Swiss chalet has 3 floors: on the 1st, a large living dining area and open kitchen, which makes for a convivial atmosphere. The 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor can each sleep 2 persons. There is also a spacious bedroom on the top floor, and a den. Outside, we enjoy doing barbeques and eating while enjoying the majestic view of the mountains. Great place to sip wine too, while taking in the majestic view!

Our neighborhoodThe chalet is situated at 1000m altitude, in a small village in the valley of Nendaz, 10 min by car or bus from Sion (capital of Valais) and 10 min from the year-round resorts of Haute Nendaz and Veysonnaz. Many activities in the area and visits to do (castles, museums, thermal baths, vineyards, shopping, sport activities, cable cars, aventure parks, walking, hiking, mountain biking..)It is only 1hour 45 min. from Geneva or Berne (Swiss capital) by highway, and has also good train/bus connections. It's also idealy located for day trips to other parts of the Valais (Zermatt,Matterhorn, Montana, Sass Fee...). The Valais is known for it's sunny and warm climate - that's why it's also a famous wine growing area in the middle of the alps!

Something about ourselvesWe are a retired couple in our 60's. Our 3 girls are on their own now with their own families. We enjoy discovering new places and people. We like to travel with friends so generally would be 4 (2 couples) to travel, preferably in the spring and fall for us. Exchange can be non-simultaneous. We are non-smokers. Feel free to contact us with your proposition. Please note that the chalet is not available in winter.
