Modern attic apartment in a charming old house (built 1910) very close to the center of Luzern. Island kitchen, office (double bed here used as day bed), and dining area (seating for 6) combined, balcony with a wonderful view of the alps, 2 bedrooms, one with 2 single beds, one with double bed (master bedroom), 2 bathrooms, one with shower, and a tub, one with toilet and washer and dryer. Flat-screen TV, stereo, and DVD player as well as wireless Internet access. Kids games and toys. Apartment is on the second (master bedroom) and third floor of a fully renovated early 20th century building.

Our apartment is in a very quiet section of Luzern, 3 minute walk from the bus stop which takes you to the main train station, the center of Luzern in 7 minutes. 10 minute walk to shopping (or 2 bus stops), very nice quiet neighborhood. Luzern is an excellent location for exploring central Switzerland, an hour by train to Bern, Basel, and Zurich. Something about ourselves

We are a Polish-American family with 2 kids, Max and Anna, ages 9 and 7 respectively. I am a network engineer, and my wife Ula (the Polish half) is a school teacher. We enjoy traveling, swimming, hiking in the summer, and skiing in the winter. We've exchanged homes several times in the past. See recommendations.
