Our home is our castle. It was built in 1914 as a doctor's villa and represents the style of the "Magic Mountain"-period of Davos as a high altitude health-resort. Every couple of years, we put quite an effort into some gentle refurbishing, so the house remains in great shape and meets all modern standards. Central-heating, a modern kitchen, a comfortable bathroom with a built-in sauna, WLAN, two spacious and bright living-rooms and three bedrooms guarantee for a relaxing stay in a wonderful atmosphere. In the pergola, overlooking a big garden or on the large terrace on the second floor, you can sunbathe in privacy even in winter with absolutely no other people watching you. It is very quiet and safe, in spite of the bus-stop being only 30 meters away. The public bus takes 5 minutes to Davos and runs from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are adventurous enough to drive on snow, you can also use our Suzuki 4WD. Unfortunately, our house is neither really furnished for children nor wheelchair accessible.

Davos (http://www.davos.ch in the Swiss Alps on 1.560 metres above sea level is the ideal environment for an active holiday in spectacular surroundings. It is beautiful in summer and fascinating in winter. Davos Klosters offers 300 kilometres of pistes spread over five different areas and 110 km cross-country ski runs. The wide range of outdoor attractions is enhanced by 8 different sledge runs, ice sports including ice skating, ice hockey and curling and also paragliding. The 157 kilometres of prepared winter-walking paths are an invitation to explore the countryside. Davos, the location of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum WEF, offers a vibrant social and cultural life with its peak around Christmas.
