Description of our house
Our apartment is spacious,clean and part of a 3 familyhouse. On the ground floor, we have our living room, toilet, dining area and a large, well equiped kitchen. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, bath/shower and office/workroom. A guest room with couchbed and TV/DVD is downstairs.
We have a big garden, one part is private to us and one part we share with our neighbors.
We have two cars for use , both with manuall transmission.

Our neighborhoodWe live in the small community of Berikon. A short 30 min. drive to the heart of Zurich with its beautiful lake and mountain scenery.
The bells from our neighbors cows can be heard sometimes day and night. Sitting outside, listening to them, makes you feel like you are in the Alps.
It is a friendly family district, surroundet by some farms. All mayor tourist spots are reached within 1-4 hours by car or train. Zurich offers a wide variety of culture for every age.
Driving 2 1/2 hours to the south, you will enjoy beautiful Ticine, the italien speaking part of Switzerland with its warm and sunny climate.
Even the french Alsace and the German Blackforest is an easy 1 hour drive from here.

Something about ourselvesWe are Lilian and Andy, a married couple in our mid fourties with our two daughters age 12 and 14.
Our family includes two lovely cats, but they will be placed in a cathotel during home exchange.
Andy works as an area sales manager. I am a Tailor and a stay at home mom.
We have travelled intensively in the past and just finished our first Home exchange in California.
We love the ocean and animals.
We are open for any place.2-3 weeks in our summer school vacation.
