Our apartment has three big rooms. There are two bedrooms and one livingroom. There is also a large hallway. The kitchen is not very large but cosy and you can sit 8 persons at the table. It is not extremely luxyry but there is all equipment you need for cooking.
There are two bedrooms, one with a large dubblebed and one with a singlebed 120 cm wide. If an extra bed is needed we can arrange that.
In the livingroom there is a large sofa, 4 meters long, where two people can sleep if nessesary. There is also an open fireplace, tv, computer and playstation 3.
The bathroom is next to the large bedroom and has a bathtub, shower and a toilet. There is also another toilet next to the hallway.
In the house there is a laundry-room for everyone to use. It consists of two large machines, and drying cupboard.
In the summertime we sit outside in the backyard eating and barbecue. The backyard is for everyone in the house but is mainly used by us and a few others. Our apartment has three big rooms. We live in the center of Stockholm in an area called Vasastan. Here you are close to everything but it is also nice and quiet for being in a big city. We have a lot of green areas nearby, for example Hagaparken wich is a large park made in the end of the 18th century with untouched woods and large lawns. It´s a nice picnic place or just for walking around and it´s a 20 min. walk from the apartment.
It takes about 20 min to walk downtown where you have shopping, teaters, cinemas and lots of other things.
Or 10 min if you go by subway.
Vasastan is a charming little area full of small cafés and restaurants, nice shops and peaceful areas to stroll around. It is also the center of Stockholm artscene with most of the most famous galleries next door to our house.
There are good connections nearby, both buses, subways and trains.
During summer you can go swimming outdoor in different public poolareas or in the lake Mälaren. During the winter we go iceskating in some of the prepared skating-rinks in the park or on a frosen lake. We live in the center of Stockholm in an area called Vasastan. We are a small family consisting of Christian, Maud, our daughter Blanca and our Siberian Husky Akita. We have lived in this apartment for 14 years and we are all born here in Stockholm.
Christian is 47 and works as a carpenter with his own firm. I am 46 and I work as a Barista at an espressobar here in Vasastan. Blanca, who is 9 years old attends school.
We try to make one longer trip every year, mostly in the summer. We prefer living in a house or an apartment to get a better feeling for where we are and to be able to eat home every now and then.
The dog will not be coming with us, she will stay with friends. But if you want to bring your dog here it is no problem for us.
