Description of our house
The apartment is really beautiful and cozy. Situated on the top floor (with elevator) in a house from the 1920 in middle of Södermalm. A trendy neighbourhood (Sofo) just south of The Old Town (10 minute walk). Close to urban activities as well as good communications.
The apartment is designed for a family with a small child but if neccecary easy to change one room to a study or put in extra beds. The bathroom has a new bathtub and floor heating. The master bedroom is airy and comfortable. The kitchen is open and laid out toghether with the living room. The apartment has been featured in different Swedish and european decoration magazines.

Our neighborhoodStockholm consist of different islands. The appartment is situated on the south island (Södermalm) near the Old Town which is really center of Stockholm (it's where the king's castle is). Södermalm used to be the poor mans area in the mddle ages but has now become the trendy area with lots of small boutiques next to charming malls. The area has dining in all prices as well as clubs and bars. Södermalm is also great for walking with beutiful seaside paths. You can even swim here in middle of town in summertime. Or go for a skate on the lake in winter.
The Stockholm archipelago has over 10 000 island really worth visiting and is easy accesed with boats or busses near us.

Something about ourselvesWe are a small family of three. Erik 36 and Isabelle 32 are self employed and work with home decorating, fashion and tv. We have a small daughter who is 2 years and very cute. She loves horses and Pippi Longstocking. We like to travel as much as possible but never tried houde swapping before. But sometimes has to be first right? We are non smoking and easy going. If needed we have very good referenses. Don't hesitate with any questions.
