Stockholm offers a wealth of museums, theatres, sights, attractions and events.

Hammarby Sjöstad is one of Sweden's biggest urban development projects, intended to link the inner city with the areas around Hammarby lake. It takes about 10 minutes to reach Stockholm inner city by walking. We have bikes to borrow and that is the perfect way to see the hole city that has excellent bike trails. You can swim in the city and all around so its perfect to combine culture with sunbathing and swimming.

Proximity to the water and a strong environmental focus are the projects hallmarks. Hammarby Sjöstad is known worldwide as a successful example of modern, dense urban development combined with high-quality public spaces and ambitious green initiatives. Stockholm is surrounded with water and it is easy to catch a boat and see the archipelagos.

We are a young family. Me, Birgitta I am 33 years old and work as a consultant manager for engineers. My husband Filip is 34 years and work with marketing. We have two children Ingrid 4 years and Albin 2 years. We love to travel and have been all over the world. With Ingrid we spent 3 months in Thailand last year. Our children are easy going and lovely not always quiet though. We have home exchange last summer with a family in Spain and loved the experience. So much better than we could ever have imagined. Its a great way to travel and see new places and at the same time have somewhere to relax and feel at home without disturbing anyone we think this sounds perfect. We are looking for an exchange in the end of july beginning of august, 2 weeks would be perfect!
