Årsta is a popular area in Stockholm with central location. There are reastaurants and shops within 5 minutes walking. You can take the bus right outside that goes every ten minutes, you can go to central Stockholm or anywhere in stockholm with the subway, tram or train all accessed from here.
Stockholm is a the capital of Sweden and is a beautiful city, with great old architecture, museums, a lot of cruises and boats that go to Islands around Stockholm, which is called Skärgård in Swedish. Old town and also a lot of nature and water.

In Årsta there is a nice promenade along the water (Årstaviken). You can easily walk to beautiful årstaviken or play golf nearby. Globen is close to our home, where you can enjoy conserts.
There is also a public swimmingpool close to our home. There is a sauna and bicykling-room in another building which you will have access to.

Me and my husband are typical working class. Teacher and engineer. We have a son of 8 years. We are calm personalities who enjoy a calm place to relax, as well as acitve trips. Sometimes me and my son travel with my sister and her son of 7 years, becouse the boys love to be togather. We appriciate having access to the beach during our vacation in the summer. We like to travel to new places and like exploring. We dont like touristic way of traveling. We have had a few successful exchanges so far to Peniscola in Spain, Mallorca and Niece, and Torino in Italy.
