The place Saltögården consists of a structure of 7 houses, the largest one is our own holiday home and the one that we would like to exchange. The rest of the houses are for rent if your company consists of more people... The house has large rooms in i traditional style, and we use it all year around. It has all the necessarities for comfortable living, and it is an nice place for children. Beeing our holiday house, we do not need the dates for exchange to match exactly. More pictures can be sent upon request. It has a grand piano, hot tub, deck for eating outside in the long light evenings. The sun sets at 10.30 p.m in the end of june, giving the special Scandinavian light to the evenings.

After crossing several small islands on a narrow road and bridges only wide enough for one car at the time, you will reach the island Saltö. Beeing a national park, it is well preserved with just a few buildings, and without new developments after the 60's... Build originally by a lover of classical music as a retreat for musicians and composers, the place "Saltögården" provides a unique atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Situated in probably the most scenic part of the west coast archipelago of Bohuslän in Sweden, if offers a truly special experience of coast life in Scandinavia. We are a friendly family of five, Odd (father) is turning 40 in 2009, and are self-employed as an investor in real-estate development. Oddrun (mother) is 38 years old and work as an artist and singer/songwriter, mainly with childrens music (http://www.paratus.no We have 3 kids at 14, 12 and 4 years. We are active in our church and in our community as well. We beleive strongly in having family activities, such as nice holidays both summer and winter. Sometimes we travel with good friends, and we have up to now rented houses and apartments in various places in Europe, specially in France and in the swiss and austrian alps.
