The apt is located in the safe and beautiful neighbourhood of Vigie. This area is a very private one road community (it's a peninsula) with large properties and friendly neighbours. The land below is owned by us which allows for perfect access to a private beach and snorkeling reefs. We are growing a small orchard with mangoes, grapefruits, apples, oranges, cocao, pineapple, avocado and of course plenty of coconut trees. Our gardner will supply with you fresh coconut water the whole time you are staying. The orchard is open to you if you would like to pick fruit as well. Down the road 5 min walk is Vigie beach, a non-touristy local's beach with amazing water! Also is the neighbourhood is a fun lighthouse to check out and some old heritage army barracks and garrisons from when the British defended the island. The apt is very central to many restaurants and is a 15 min drive to the touristy northern area and also 45 min drive south to the famous Pitons. Castries market and main city is only 5 min away by car. If you fly into the small airport, the apt is only 5 min away by or 1 hour if you fly into the international airport down island.

My family has lived on the island since the early 1800's and this house has been in family for over a 100 years. I am taking care of the apt exchanges for my parents who live in St. Lucia full time. The mutual exchange will be for my parents or myself. My folks are both retired and live a simple life on the island, working in the gardens and baking cakes :) There are always good fruits and treats around for when anyone visits and we take pride in making sure our guests are happy and comfortable.
