WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR A LONG TERM FOR A WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR Our home is a beautiful house at 7 km from the Mediterranean sea, in one of the best residential areas of Valencia, in a village called Godella. It was built in 2004. It is provided with barbecue, little swimming pool (in a paved space), and a verandah with eating and relaxing areas, as much as place for potted plants, buganvilias, and so on. You can see the sea from the verandah. Bedrooms (three, and two bathrooms) are on the second floor. There is also a lofty top floor who is used as an office. The children have plenty of space to play and the house is sunny and comfortable. There is internet (high speed), conditioned air in the bedrooms, and the landline calls are free.You have a lot of books in english. All modern appliances in the kitchen and laundry. We leave our car, and we expect to exchange it, too.

Our neighborhood
Godella is a typical village close to Valencia, which is a beautiful old city, with a lot of sightseeing to do, historical and modern arquitecture. There are so many places to go with children: aquarium (biggest in europe), bioparc, Terra mitica, science museum... The village of Godella is one of the nicest in the area. Sandy long beaches are all along the coast, you can choose the one you prefer. There are too a lot of places out of the city to see, for a day trip, like Peñíscola, la Albufera...we can leave you some touristic information. There are also wineries to visit, and flamenco to see, if you wish. In Easter you can see the "Semana Santa marinera", on july there is "feria" in the city, and in august are the "fiestas" in the village and the surrounding ones, with parades, music, etc...you can see the fireworks from the verandah by night. Weather is sunny and warm, people is nice, and food is terrific, you have to taste the "paella" and the "orxata". Very good for relaxing... There are sport facilities at walking distance, as much as tube and tram station. Tube is going downtown every 20 minutes and takes 15 minutes to arrive. This is a good place to learn spanish, too, as there are many places to go for lessons. Something about ourselves
I am a tax law university teacher, and my husband is a high school one. We have 2 girls: Laura (16) and Diana (8). They are used to travel and are very good mannered, you can be at your ease, they will be careful in your house. It is not our first exchange, so they know it is important to be liable. We like travelling a lot, and knowing new places and cultures. Laura likes the water activities, like sailing, kayaking, etc and Diana loves making new friends. We are looking for a house where feeling at home while exploring new surroundings and relaxing a bit, in a place where the girls could socialize an have some fun. For the summer, we like places near water: a river, a lake, or the beach. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LONG-TERM EXCHANGE WITH USA/CA/UK/IRELAND for the academic year 2011/2012 or 2012-2013.
