Description of our house
WHOLE HOUSE AVAILABLE SUMMER ONLY. PART HOUSE ALL YEAR.
Reformed finca, mainly one storey, plus one bedroom/sitting area on mezzanine. Layout of spacious 2 bedroom family cottage with attached independent 2 bedroom guest apartment attached. Can be used as one large family house or 2 independent cottages(but connected) Entrance hallway with cloaks, 25m dining kitchen over looks paved terrace to large pool. Small sitting room, opening at one end onto lavender garde, Through to double bedroom opening onto huge patio with fountain - ideal for summer dining. Rear Patio partially roofed with bbq and bar area. Guest area has 2 bedrooms (1 twin 1 double) plus bed floor, sleeps. Each area has own bathroom. The apartment, sleeps max 4, has own access, parking, terrace with bbq, kitchen and bathroom. A typical small andaluz farmstead in a stunning setting with views to Sierra de las Nieves Nature Park, terraces, bbqs, large walled and gated swimming pool with lounging terrace and bbq, well stocked veg garden (pick your own peppers, toms, aubergines, melons etc in summer), 100s of olive and almond trees. Very private but good access. An adventure playground for kids and total relaxation for adults. For those who enjoy lazy days and balmy nights. A real get away from it all.

Our neighborhoodEl Burgo is an unspoilt spanish village with few foreign residents. Many holiday events and festivals, several bars and restaurants, all the food shopping you require plus weekily street market. Municipal swimming pool has bar/restaurant and plenty of groovy young people around to get to know. Saturday nights many youngsters come from outlying villages to attend popular disco/club. Summer is bustling, with plenty of al fresco dining and general socialising. River Turon rises 2 ks upstream forming 3 natural swimming pools, stocked with burble and terrapin. Nature thrives here in the pure air golden eagles, ibex, otters. There's wonderful walking, horseriding and picnicing, Buses daily to Ronda and Malaga for cultural events and sightseeing. Ronda 35 min drive, Malaga 75 minutes.

Something about ourselvesCallum (writer) and Tracy (tv director) have 2 children Alexander (Sandy) is 5 and at the local village school and Lucia aged 2. They've lived in this village for 5 years setting up their business Frontier Holidays. Callum leads walking and bird watching holidays in many Spanish Nature Parks.
