Our second home is lovely and comfortable. It overlooks the communal pool,beautiful mature gardens, with direct access to the beach. We love to sip a glass of vino with some tapas on the terrace at night and see the mountains in the distance. It is 2 bed/2bath with separate kitchen and laundry. The lounge is large and leads on to the balcony which benefits from evening sun. We have reversed airconditioning.

Situated in prime location Playa Real Marbesa is a gem. There is a small hotel closeby with indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. Marbesa is 35 mins from Malaga and 10 mins from Marbella with all its "glitz". The beach has lots of Chiringuitos and all in walking distance. Daily trips can be organized to visit some of the old Spanish villages e.g. Ronda, Mijas and many more. It is approx 2 hrs from Sierra Nevada mountains ... great skiing. Bus runs every 30 mins to Marbella and Malaga. Bus stop is at the top of the road. There is a poolside bar and restaurant in our complex. It opens from Easter to end of September. Jim and I are both retired in our early sixties. Jim had his own business for 30yrs and I was a credit controller in a large firm. We love to travel and spend time with our grown up kids and grandchildren. We have not done a Home Exchange before but we are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident and allow someone to see ours. We both love to walk, cycle, read and are also theatre goers. I enjoy tennis and sing in the local church choir.
