Built only 6 years ago, our south facing apartment is a modern, luxury home on two levels. There is elevator access to both floors. We offer spacious, bright accommodation. The main bedroom has its own balcony, is en suite and has a double shower. The second bedroom, which can sleep two has a bathroom and shower/jacuzzi opposite. The kitchen is modern & spacious and also has a balcony. The lounge is very comfortable and connects to its own balcony that has views to the river, church and village. Upstairs there is a play area with another bedroom which can sleep up to four people. We have hi speed WIFI, DVD player, a wide screen plasma TV and a music system throughout the apartment.

Closest airports to us are Bilbao 1 hour, Biarritz 1 hr 15 mins and Santander 3 hours. Our village is perfectly situated for you to enjoy all aspects of the Basque Country. We are 3km from Azpeitia and the famous Loiola Basillica. We are 20 minutes from some of Europes most spectacular coastline and beautiful beaches where you can swim, surf or snorkel. Visit San Sebastian, only 40 minutes by car or be in the centre of Bilbao to visit the Guggenheim in 1 hour. We are 1 hour from the French border where you can visit beautiful Biarritz. Explore the secrets of this Basque speaking area, its history, its people, its famous food, its farms, lakes, forests and incredible mountains and valleys. If you are interested in walking then this is your opportunity to walk part of the Camino de Santiago(see link below). Our friendly little village (population 600) has three bars in which you can eat traditional cuisine. It has two shops and a church. The neighbouring town of Azpeitia (3kms) has a wide selection of shops, bars, a cinema and places to eat. Something about ourselves

We are a professional couple with two young children (3 and 5 years old). I was born in Belfast, Ireland, I am 43 years old and my wife is 38 and from our village here in the Basque Country. We met in Ireland and moved to the Basque Country nearly 4 years ago. We have successfully completed two exchanges to date; Bern, Switzerland in Summer 2010 and Galway, Ireland in August 2011.
