The apartment is located in the Las Terazzas Complex and is an end unit on the 2nd floor with views of La Herradura Bay and the Mediterranean. It is a quiet neighborhood, a 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the town center where there are several restaurants and the Municipal Market. The weekends are very busy on the Costa Tropical, with locals from Granada, but weekdays are quiet and a very peaceful. The size of the village is about 3,000, mostly Spaniards. The apartment is not recommended for young children and is more suited to adults/seniors who like to relax on the terrace and enjoy the breathtaking views. The apartment is not available for exchange during the summer, June, July or August due to rentals.

The village of La Herradura(http:/http://www.turismoalmunecar.com has several colorful "Chiringuito" type of restaurants that are beachside and offer fresh seafood and Spanish specialties throughout the day and evening. There are 3 local grocery stores and the Municipal Market for fresh fish, meats, produce and Spanish cheese. There is major shopping in the city of Almunecar, a 10 minute drive up the coast. We are Bob and Jennie and live in Scottsdale, Ariz. USA. La Herradura is our 2nd home and we love Spain and the wonderful Spanish people. We are retired and love to travel. We have been to France 4 times and are looking to explore southern France and Italy.
