Casa Del Jardin is a traditional Spanish holiday house in a walled garden with a pool in the village of Acequias near Granada in Andalusia spain. The Valle of happiness, where the house is situated is one of the least developed valleys in Andalucia, where the donkey is still a familiar means of transport ? and the locals measure their olive crop in donkey loads. Acequias is a rural Andalucian village only 25 minutes from Granada, 30 minutes from the Costa Tropical with its selection of lovely beaches and 60 minutes from the international ski resort Sol y Nieve. This old Moorish village is set back in the hills and overlooks the valley of Lecrin renowned for its orange and lemon groves that give off the most wonderful scents. Fed by mountain springs, the lake nearby is good for swimming and lazy picnics.

Acequias is a small unchanged village Near Granada in the valley of lecrin. Casa Tia Maria lies in the unspoilt tranquil village of Acequias. The oldest country house surrounded by a walled garden with swimming pool Casa Del Jardin lies in the garden of this house,it has been lovingly reastored to provide a traditional Andalusian holiday homes with two bedrooms. The house in the garden has two bedrooms and one bathroom which leads off a spacious and comfortable open plan living room/kitchen with easy access to a big privte balcony outside. I am a teacher who likes to paint and travel with my two girls Eve age 14 and May age 12. I bought the house in Spain around 10 years ago, the children and I have had lots of lovely holidays in Acequias its a nice house with a lovely pool.
