Our holiday house is very spacious with a large wild garden of 8000m2 and with gorgeous views on the mediterrenean sea and the green hills of a national parc. We have a large living room, dining room and extensive kitchen. There is a covered and uncovered terrace with bbq next to the swimming pool. The master bedroom and dressing are very spacious, the 3 other bedrooms are rather big and also with sea views. Car space and garage available. Very quiet location on the Mas Nou hills in a cul-de-sac street. The Playa d'Aro beach is at 2,5 km downhill. The golf course is at 800m on the top of the hills, overlooking the mediterrenean sea.

Playa d'Aro is an elegant resort with a large beach and a string of secluded bays and a leisure port. There is plenty of restaurants and shopping available. Nearby the catalonian countryside and the national parc Les Gavarres offers 1100 km of hiking and biking trails(starting at 5km in the very old and small town of Romanya de la Selva) and an other 5 golf courses. Culturally and gastronomically Cataluna has a lot to offer with the nearby cities of San Feliu (5 km), Palamos (12 km), Pals(20 km), La Bisbal (30 km), Gerona (35 km), Figueres (80 km), Barcelona(100km), the Pyrenees (100 km), the french border (100km). Artists as Dali, Goya, Miro, Picasso, Gaudi and many more are all at reach. There are also many spectacular catalonian historic villages and highest concentration of roman monuments (churches and monasteries). Belgium is situated in the heart of Western Europe. Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp a.o. are medieval cities worthwile visiting. Paris, Amsterdam, London, Koln(by high speed TGV train from Brussels)and Luxembourg are all at about 300km. Lyon, Berlin, Zurich, Geneva, Praha and many other european cities are at 700 to 1000 km. Plenty of budget flights and an extensive train network are connecting all european cities with Brussels (150 km from De Panne by highway- or by direct train connection ) and Charleroi. Ignace and myself are around 60. He's a medical doctor and I am the owner of some businesses in Belgium. We have 3 married children and 4 grandchildren. One daughter is living with her husband and 3 children in Australia (NSW-Sydney-Manly).
