The urbanization has a little supermarket and a reception. It was founded originaly by norwegians, and among their inhabitants there are many nórdics and germans. It is situated almost inside Famara beach, amazing and very peacefull. It is visited by surfers when the weather is adecuate and the few neibourgs of the area. Pedro Almodovar latest film, "Los abrazos rotos" is situated there.
Famara beach is five minutes by car from Teguise where sundays they organize a flie marquet quite big, with people coming from the rest of the Island. Teguse in a tipical white Lanzarotes village with interesting places where for instante order a cofee with Germán bread and bakery listening to livemusic, and eating from vegetarían to tipical Mojo picón and majorero cheese.
Lanzarote has got a volcánic beauty, and many especial places to visit, the clima is very godo and is posible to swimm in the sea during the whole year,
Visiting a cactus garden, have dinner in the house that Cesar Manrique built for Omar shariff, visit ing the Jameos del Agua, ride a camel in the MOntaña de fuego volcanic park, shopping tax-free in Playa Blanca, fishing excursions, aré only some of the activities you can do before surrender to the calmness of this unic and intense little island.

La urbanización cuenta con un pequeño supermercado y una recepción. Entre sus habitantes abundan los alemanes y los nordicos. Esta ubicada en plena playa de Famara, espectacular y muy tranquila. La frecuentan surferos cuando el tiempo es propicio y los pocos vecinos de la zona. La película "Los abrazos rotos" de Pedro Almodovar transcurre en la urbanización.
Playa famara esta a 5 minutos en coche de Teguise, donde los domingos tiene lugar un mercadillo de grandes dimensiones y cuenta con lugares interesantes donde por ejemplo tomar un cafe, con pan y tartas alemanas mientras tocan musica en directo, comer vegetariano o cocina tipica de Lanzarote.
La isla de Lanzarote es de una belleza volcánica, tiene muchos lugares especiales para visitar, pero es imposible estresarse. El clima es muy bueno y es posible bañarse durante todo el año, aunque el viento se hace notar a menudo.
Visitar un jardín de cactus, cenar en la casa que Cesar Manrique realizo para Omar Shariff, visitar Los Jameos del Agua, montar en camello en la Montaña de Fuego, comprar libre de impuestos en Playa Blanca o aventurarse a visitar la isla graciosa, que se divisa desde la playa son solo algunas de las actividades que pueden realizarse en esta pequeña pero intensa isla.

Me llamo Laura, soy arquitecta, de 36 años, con dos niños de 9 y 5 años que estudian en un colegio alemán. Nos gusta mucho pasar tiempo juntos, hacer deporte, la naturaleza ( bichos, plantas, piedras) exposiciones, museos, el mar...y también la ciudad. También nos gusta mucho la música y tenemos piano, trompeta y violín dando guerra en casa. Nosotros vivimos en Madrid, una ciudad apasionante, pero no para todo el mundo el mejor destino para los meses veraniegos, por lo que ofrecemos nuestra segunda residencia en Lanzarote, que nos resulta mas atractiva a priori y tiene una mayor disponibilidad. En cualquier caso también consideramos intercambiar nuestra primera residencia si prefieren la vida cultural y nocturna de la capital.
Nos gustaría pasar dos semanas en Berlín en julio, nos encanta la ciudad, que hemos visitado en varias ocasiones, y nos fascinaría hacerlo mediante el intercambio.

My name is Laura, Im an architect, with tío kids of 9 and 5 years that study in a Germán school . We enjoy spending time together, sport, nature (insects, plants, minerals..), exhibitions, museums, the sea....and also big cities. We also like music a lot and have trumpet, piano and violin making noise at home.
My children and I live in madrid, in a nice and spacious apartment in the center of the city. Madrid is very exciting, but not for everybody the best destiny in the summer, that is why we offer our second residence in lanzarote, which sounds more attractive and offers much higher availability. In any case we would we open to exchange our first residence if you prefer the cultural and night life of the capital.
We would like to spend two eeks in Berlín in july. We love the city, and have visited it in different occasions.
