From the coast to the mountain tops Tenerife the largest of the Canary islands with year round sunshine is a universe of marked contrasts. Secret bays with exotic black sand, long golden beaches,giant clifffs and valleys covered in banana plantations. Water sports abound. Try your hand at kite surfing, take a cruise to see the whales or play golf. If all that sounds too much we have lots of books, comfy sunbeds and a sunny terrace. Enjoy canarian cuisine combining traditional Spanish recipes with African and Latin American influences. Whatever your ideal holiday the island of eternal spring has something for you. The perfect base to explore it from is Palm Mar a quiet resort with its own beach, shops, restautrants etc. just 15mins from the airport in the south, and a ten min. drive from the main resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. There are no hotels, and most apartments are owner occupied. We have all the facilities of a resort without the hustle and bustle which is close by if required. Our apartment is on the top floor with sea views, and is comfortably furnished. We are surrounded by the sea and the national park with the mountains behind us. A beautiful location for walking. Our apartment complex has its own pool, and the beach, restaurants, shops ect. are just a five min. stroll away.

We are Bruce and Christine in our late fifties, retired and enjoying the good life. We love to travel and find home exchanging the ideal way to experience a different way of life. We have enjoyed nine exchanges so far.
