Our second home is a spacious one bedroom apartment which sleeps up to four people (one big double bed and two individual sofa beds). It's got an open plan living-dinning area with a balcony overlooking the main square in town (with restaurants, cafes, childrens playground, shops, harbour, etc). It is located on a third floor and there is no lift, so it's not suitable for disabled or very elderly people. A car is not necesary , as it's very central (main bus station 3 min away), and you can walk everywhere in Puerto.

Puerto de la Cruz is a costal town on the north of the island of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands. The apartment is in the Plaza del Charco, a focal square in the centre of town, 3 min from main bus station that services frequently both airports, mount Teide, the south of the island, the capital Santa Cruz,etc. The beach and world famous Lago (artificial seawater lake-pool)are both about a 10 min walk. We are a couple of professionals in their mid thirties that live in Qatar, Middle East. I am Spanish and my husband is French. We have 2 small children, a boy of eight and a girl of seven. We often travel to Tenerife to see our family, but would like to visit other places too, preferably sunny and warm. We like scuba diving, swimming, enjoying nice weather and nice food, relaxing, but also visiting and exploring new places. We are looking forward to house exchanging and we will look after your property as we expect you to look after ours.We have exchanged in summer 2009 in Crete and was a wonderful experience. In 2010 we exchanged with France, Portugal and Washington DC (USA). In 2011 we exchanged with Cardiff, Uk. In 2012 we have so far exchanged with Paris, France.
