The house is situated within 8 minutes safe walk through pine trees to a sandy beach. This blue flag beach has recently been awarded an extra quality award as one of the best on the Costa Blanca. There are four international golf courses in the area. Within 5 minutes drive/15 minutes walk there are shops, bars and restaurants. You can walk to our local Dia supermarket in Campoamor. We have an excellent local health centre which is open 24 hours for emergencies. Historical cities of Murcia and Cartagena are within a short drive. Torrevieja famous for its salt lakes and healthy and mild climate is 15 minutes drive away. Pilar de Horadada our nearest small town is about 8 minutes drive in the opposite direction towards San Pedro. Visit the famous healing powers of the mud in the waters of the Mar Menor. For a vibrant change visit the resort of Benidorm with Terra Mitica theme park and Mundomar Water Park only one and half hours drive. The local coach companies offer day tours of the area. Many people speak English but it is appreciated if you can speak some Spanish. Our nearest airport is Murcia (15 mins drive away) and Alicante (45 minutes away). Budget airlines operate from the UK to both these airports.

Our names are Sue & Clive and we retired to Spain for warmth and a relaxing life style which we have been enjoying for the past 12 years. We like to visit different places in different areas of the UK, Ireland & Scotland, although we are open to offers and would be willing to exchange our house in July and August preferably for 2 - 4 weeks, although we would consider other times such as Easter. We would of course respect your home as we would hope you would do the same. We are both non-smokers but have a healthy social life with friends & neighbours and of course enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, swimming, dancing.
