The villa is in a quiet residential urbanization a few minutes from the local village of Altea La Vella with a backdrop of the Sierra Bernia mountains. It is tastefully decorated and nothing has been spared to make this property more a home than a holiday villa. Wonderful views of the sea can be enjoyed from the main lounge and sun terrace and the gardens are well established with orange, mandarin, lemon, olive, almond, pomegranate, nisboro and lavish with pines, palms and shrubs with lawns surrounding the pool. Exterior areas are furnished for alfresco dining. There is a portable BBQ and six sun loungers.
Maintenance, cleaning and laundry is carried out locally from the village. Broadband wireless internet connection is installed in the villa. The Valencia coastal area includes the renowned Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante. The coastal resorts in the Alicante Province include Altea, Benitachel, Benidorm, Calpe, Denia, Gandia, Javia and Moraira. The Mediterranean climate has mild winters and hot summers with an average of 320 days of sunshine a year, summer temperatures exceeding 30c.
By car Alicante airport is 45 minutes and Altea town 10 minutes.
Altea is a bright, charming old town perched on a hill, sloping down to the sea, it's church with blue and white glazed ceramic tiled domes. Here there are an abundance of shops catering to all tastes, excellent restaurants and others established along the pretty beach promenade. Walk through the town and visit the Palau de las Artes, Museums and the Campus of it's University of Arts, the narrow streets decorated with geraniums and jasmine, the wooden doors and grills against the white facades.
From the villa a short car trip or 10 minutes walk to the local village of Altea La Vella with it's bank, post office, small supermarket, several other shops, restaurants and cafes good for morning coffee and croissants.
Stony beaches are just 5 minutes distant, but particularly for children Calpe's sandy beaches are excellent and Benidorm, 20 minutes, has not only superb sandy beaches but a splendid water park, marine zoo and vast theme park.
