Located in the magnificent and secure Fernkloof Golf Estate Hermanus this unusual modern home includes natural finishes giving it a light bright but warm and very welcoming ambiance. The ground floor provides a light, bright entrance (with pond view), dining, kitchen and entertainment area all of which lead out to the deck with convenient built in braai, garden and golf course. Spectacular views of lush fairways, forest and mountains abound. A distant sea view can be enjoyed from our delightful loft lounge(with fireplace)and deck area on the upper level. Our bedroom section on the g/f is equally interesting. The M/bedroom features exposed wooden rafters and sliding/folding doors which open out onto a balau deck offering access & stunning views of our garden & the golf course(see photo). The modern on suite bathroom provides a sunken bath and a splendid shower if you prefer. A small deck leads out from the M/bathroom. Our comfortable guest bedroom enjoys view of the forest and mountain. You can step out through a glass sliding door into a delightful fountain courtyard to enjoy a morning coffee or breakfast. A lovely modern bathroom, basin and toilet is conveniently opposite this guest bedroom. The 3rd room is the study with a second TV desk and computer facility for you use. This room also enjoys lovely view of the forest & mountains.

Our immediate neighbourhood forms part of the magnificent secure Golf Estate with lush fairways, greens, water features and a glorious wetland of indigenous trees and plants known as Fynbos. Bird species abound as they nest,feed and fly around the wetlands and forests surrounding our property. A regular walk around our golf estate is a joy to behold. Our Home is also a stones throw away from wonderful walks along our famous sea front cliff paths and the well known Fernkloof Nature Reserve. Around the corner (less than 2ks) we have every amenity and facility you need including splendid shops, restaurants, coffee shops, book shops, museums, craft & food markets etc. It's convenience personified. Less than an hours drive fom Hermanus you can visit quaint interesting villages like Stanford, Gansbaai & Greyton to name just a few. Our own superb wine route is on your doorstep and the internationally renowned wine regions of Franschoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl are only one and a half to two hours drive from Hermanus. We are a youthful down-to-earth 68yr old retired couple - Peter/Lol(see photo) We're fortunately fit and in good health and are really having fun. We gym, walk, read, are generally very creative and garden a lot. We are members of our local music society, cook and enjoy good times, good food & good wine with our friends on a regular basis. We have two Yorkies (Miro & Joli) and a beautiful cat named Majestic. Our Yorkies will be taken care of while we travel but if possible we would like our exc to take care of Majestic will be part of an exchange provided our exchange partners if willing to take care of majestic.She is very easy, independent and requires only to be fed plus a little bit of attention from time to time. We love travelling (especially Southern France/Louberon area, and Italy/Amalfi area which we have done on a number of occasions. We need to have a motor vehicle at our disposal for travel in around the regions we will be visiting. Our two vehicles as mentioned would be available for our exchange partners.
