My home is really stunning. Upstairs are three bedrooms - the main one with its en-suite bathroom (with a shower, basin & toilet) - and a bathroom for the other two bedrooms with a bath, shower, basin, toilet and bidet. The views are magnificent, especially from the main bedroom which is surrounded by glass windows all the way to the floor. There is also a drop down screen on the main bedroom with an over-head projector wherefrom you can watch movies 'on the big screen' from bed.

Downstairs is a large living room and dining room and an open plan kitchen. There is a large flat screen TV with DSTV and loads of light. The kitchen has all the amenities that you'll need - dish washer, washing machine, microwave, oven, electric stove, extractor fan, toaster, blender, etc.

The balcony is the home's best feature. It's 80 metres square on its own and has the most magnificent views of the whole of Camps Bay! Blue sea, green mountains and the most spectacular sunsets 365 days a year. There is a great barbecue on the balcony as well as a wooden table for 10 people, sun tanning beds as well as plenty of chairs and sofas to relax with a cocktail in hand. There is shade if needed over the table, a dart board on the wall and even an inflatable pool in case anyone wants to splash around on a hot day!

A maid comes in twice a week to clean up at no extra cost.

OH! And for those of you who have not been to SA yet and are worried about the crime, well... don't! Where I live is VERY safe.

** I have a cat called Roxy. She is 8 years old and very easy going. If we swap, you'd have to feed her and love her please :) No people who are allergic to cats can therefore stay at my place, sorry! **

I live in Camps Bay, the most beautiful and upmarket suburb of Cape Town which also happens to be 10 minutes away from down town.

Ask anyone who's been to Cape Town and I can guarantee that they will tell you it's one of the most beautiful cities in the world! There is nothing that Cape Town lacks. It's got stunning beaches, plenty of mountains (at your doorstep!), loads of sports - just pick whatever you want - great restaurants, endless weekend activities in surrounding cities, etc.

You could, for example:
- hike in thousands of hikes on the mountains literally 5 minutes from my apartment.
- spend a weekend in the gorgeous colonial town of Franschoek, just 1 hour away by car.
- go wine routing for the day in Stellenbosch just 45 mins away (beats Californian wine routing by 10).
- surf, kite board, kayak, paraglide, paddle, skydive, quadbike, sandboard, dive, mountain bike and honestly, do any other sport you can think of really.
- visit really interesting and historic sites like Robben Island (where Mandela was imprisoned for years), the museum of National History, city tours, etc.
- visit the townships outside of Cape Town - really interesting!
- wine and dine and party till you drop!
- go camping or motorbiking just about anywhere outside of Cape Town.
- enroll in various courses in town or at the University of Cape Town for a while.
- visit game farms where you can see wildlife in their habitat, pet lions, feed elephants and much more.
- take a flight to Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, the Drakensberg mountains, Kruger National Park, etc. It's not expensive.
- I can go on and on and on - just google it :)

I am a 34 year old professional female who's lived all over the world and I run my own company. I'm open to non-simultaneous exchanges as I would just move in with friends or travel locally for business if someone came when I was still in Cape Town.

I absolutely love to travel but prefer the more exotic, out of the way places where I can do sports or something out of the ordinary (I particularly like skiing), but any place will do really. Some top pics would be Japan, China, any other spots in Asia, Brazil, Alaska, Paris, New York, Venice or one of the Scandinavian countries. But very open to both places and times really.

I am extremely neat and respectful. I do not smoke, drink or party and I'd take excellent care of your place.
