This Tuscan-styled Villa sits perched upon a hill surrounded by mountains and with wonderful sea views (all the way to Cape Point). A boutique farm with lavender and olive trees on 25 acres of land. It's midway from the English town of Stanford and Gansbaai-home of Shark diving and whale watching. A unique property of the area, safe and secure. The views from all the rooms are stupendous. The interiors are stylishly filled with Provencal and Tuscan furnishings. The Villa serves as a Guest House as well.

It comprises 3 seperate units: The Main House with 2 bedrooms en suite
Huge balcony/veranda , lounge with ooen plan kitchen and dinigroom that seats 14. Views on both sides of the house.
The EZE Suite on the ground floor with its own private garden comprises 3 bedrooms (one on the indoor veranda). The main bedroom with very romantic courtyard bathroom and Victorian slipper bath and toilet; Lounge ,kitchenette, terrace dining. Twin beds in second bedroom and double bed on indoor veranda. Toilet and shower.
2 wc's ,2 showers and one full bath.
The PROVENCE Suite is a luxury one bedroom unit with Queen-size bed, slepper couch in the lounge, kitchenette, full bathroom with views to the mountains and sunken bath.
The owner lives upstairs and there are dogs on the vast property, unless you are a large group of 10 in which case she relocates.
Guests are always welcome upstairs to use facilities and book dinners.

The owner is a Gourmet cook and Travel writer who took five years to renovate and equip this home with warm and lovely touches.
The home has a fulltime Malawian Housekeeper and a gardener in attendance who live on the property.

She acts as Travel advisor, will book tours, take you to the winelands and impart her knowledge of local wines to visitors.

We have done a few successful swaps and have made fabulous new friends .

We speak German, French and English.

In the countryside but just ten minutes from shops and Supermarkets in nearby towns. Just off a major road between Hermanus and Gansbaai (Goose Bay).
Easy access, pristine Fynbos and a private beach 6kms down the property over the dunes. A good walk or accessible with a 4x4 (not in use at the moment) vehicle.
The OVERBERG region is the gem of the Western cape and very unpoilt. Fishing, horses, mountains and beaches. The best wine farms are on your doorstep and lovely country bistros.
This is a warm and welcoming country-even winter is wonderful with sunny skies and good rainfalls.
Never colder than 5 degrees at night.

I am a Travel-bug !I love exploring food markets of the world, and am always ready to hop on a plane and go. No ties anymore make it so easy! I am meticulous about my home and would want to go to another home that is uncluttered and stylish.
Europe is my stomping ground and where I am happiest.

I prefer non- simultaneous swaps and we CANNOT accept swaps for December in to 10th January ANY year as we are full with paying guests.

I recommend Sept- Nov for whale watching and wild flowers and Feb- May for the BEST weather in the Cape .

Look forward to meeting you !Pamela Trevelyan-Bergen ( a Brit in SA)
