Our home is comfortable, clean and spacious. Downstairs there are a lounge, a sun room with a single bed, bedroom with a double bed, bathroom and separate toilet, study and well equipped kitchen. The upstairs en suite bedroom is very spacious, with a queen size bed, lovely balcony and a view of the mountains -, from the bed too! You can also relax in the bath and enjoy the view. Enjoy a barbeque in the garden, under the pergola next to the pool or on the lawn, in true South African tradition. Pick your own lemons, herbs or avocado pears in season in the garden. Our Ford Fiesta is very easy to drive. We hope you will enjoy our house and town!

Stellenbosch is a lovely old university town, full of history, culture, viby students and lots of places to eat out, see films, attend theatre and music concerts. It is set amongst beautiful mountains, with lots of hiking trails and vineyards. If you like jogging or cycling, you will find many routes fom our house. Do a wine tour and enjoy the excellent wine and beautiful wine farms. The nearest beach is half an hour away. Cape Town is a 40 min. drive away.There are many small towns in the vicinity set amongst vineyards and orchards. Our house has beautiful views of the mountains. Something about ourselves

Neil is a retired professor of psychology and Elzabe a practising psychologist. Both of us are very involved in an organisation providing a free psychological service to local poorly resourced communities. Our two daughters are both married and live in Cape Town and Johannesburg, where we have two sweet grand daughters. We love travelling and are excited to try house swapping. We often travel with Neil's sister Elma and our friend Marietjie, Neil being spoilt by the three women!
