Description of our house

Our home is on 3 levels. Floors are all tiled, but there is underfloor heating. We have a wonderful sea facing deck to watch spectacular sunsets. There are two en suite bedrooms upstairs overlooking the sea and mountains with balconies and one middle level bedroom with a balcony also with sea and beach views. Anyone exchanging may have the use of my domestic worker who currently comes in twice per week but is available for more or not at all if it is so wished. All mod cons are offered.The swimming pool has an exercise/massage jet.We are linked to an efficient nearby security company and there is a burglar alarm system.

The residence is situated in a position of extraordinaqry natural beauty. Within the world famous Table Mountain National Park, it is situated in the conservation hamlet of Misty Cliffs. The siting of the house on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean with its backdrop of mountains offers breathtaking scenery and a unique lifestyle. There are shopping malls and supermarkets 15 minutes away and 40 minutes away is Cape Town's internationally renowned Waterfront, 2010 World Cup Football Stadium and excellent Wine Routes.The sound of the sea lulls one to sleep and fishing, mussel picking, whale watching and bird life abound. 15 minutes away lies the Indian Ocean with Blue Flag beaches for swimming and sparkling white sand. We are two retired senior citizens who have travelled extensively and love to do so. We have exchanged before. We enjoy rural country settings and avoid cities wherever possible. We love sailing and have done so many times in Greece, Turkey and Croatia. We are avid readers, love fishing and beaches. We are quite keen on long stays but are open to all offers.
