Description of our house

The house is our second home. It is a narrow 5 floor building, tightly fitted right in the historical center of Piran. We rent out the apartments on the first 3 floors, however, on the last 2 floors we have designed a comfortable penthouse for ourselves. The penthouse consists of a small apartment linked by an internal staircase to a studio and a terrace in the loft.

The old seaport of Piran lies at the end of the Piran peninsula, which gradually narrows between the bays of Strunjan and Piran. The peninsula reaches Cape Madona, ending with the ¦avrini hills. The town has preserved the medieval layout with narrow streets and compact houses, which rise in steps from the coastal lowland into the hills and give the whole area a typical Mediterranean look. The Mediterranean town of Piran features nine churches but is dominated by the main Church of St. George, perched on top of the hill. The bell tower of this baroque masterpiece, which is also open to visitors, is a smaller copy of the Bell Tower of San Marco in Venice. In clear weather it offers a great view of Slovenian and Croatian Istria, coastal Trieste through to Duino, Monfalcone and Grado and, when the gusts of the bora wind clear the sky, the view stretches all the way to the breathtaking Alps. Together with Portoroz, Piran is THE tourist attraction of Slovenia's Adriatic Riviera. ![]() Something about ourselves

We're a young family of four. David (35), Natalija (38), our firstborn daughter Vita (5) and our son Matej (4). We live in Logatec, but we're very flexible even though we have small children. We both work in Ljubljana, David is a director of sales unit, Natalija is a personal assistant of the management board. We're well mannered and quiet. Our hobbies are motorcycling (fans of BMW), dancing, ambling. We are very much looking forward to this new experience. ![]()
