Description of our house

My home is a modern comfortable detached house, recently completely lovingly renovated. It is situated on a corner plot in a modern estate and set back from a main road. In 2011 the garden had been landscaped and has a small summerhouse which is lovely to sit in and relax! There are two bedrooms available for guests. One upstairs with comfortable double bed the other downstairs with two single beds. There is one family bathroom and shower room upstairs, with one shower-room downstairs. There is also a large bright sitting/dining room, modern kitchen with table and study downstairs.

My home is situated in Perthshire 6 miles from the city of Perth which is a lovely interesting city on the River Tay. Perth has a museum/art gallery, concert hall, good shopping, sports facilities, cafes, restaurants and some beautiful walks up Kinnoull Hill. Perth station has frequent trains to Edinburgh, Inverness, Dundee and Glasgow. There are buses approximately hourly from the village to Perth. Easy car access to Motorway M90 with Edinburgh 45 miles by car.Famous St Andrews is 26 miles away. ![]() Something about ourselves

I am a retired 64 year old mental health specialist nurse and live alone. My two grown up daughters live nearby. Have travelled a lot through the years but never tried home exchange, however sounds a fascinating way to stay while on holiday. Very keen to keep exploring the world and now hope to do this with my self employed 62 year old partner who lives in Yorkshire. ![]()
