Hello, I'm John. I live in a ground-floor apartment with a large sitting-room, with a large sofa that can become a double bed): fully-equipped kitchen; 2 bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room with toilet), the other I use as my office but which could be converted back into a bedroom); a bathroom with a toilet. It's less than 10 years old and in excellent condition: though I'm a mere male I can claim to be pretty well house-trained! There's a private parking area outside, for which I'll provide a permit. I'd be happy to swap cars if you're interested: I have a little Mazda TS2.

The centre of Edinburgh, as you probably know, is Princes Street: you can walk there in 25 minutes. Although it's close to the city centre, the property is beside Edinburgh's river, the Water of Leith, and there's an adjacent park. Two bicycles are available if wanted. Something about ourselves

I'm a retired therapist, Anna my partner is a self-employed social work teacher. We've never done property exchange before, but really like the idea. We are going to Melbourne for a month on December 10 2012, so we are looking for an exchange there at that time.
