Our neighborhoodIn West End of Glasgow overlooking extensive public park; close to Byres Road which is the centre of trendy West End of Glasgow where there are restaurants, bars, Glasgow University Campus, aand world renowned Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Burrell Museum is on south side of Glasgow and can be reached by quick car journey or by bus/Subway.
Apartment is convenient for reaching city centre by Subway ( short walk to station) or regular bus service. Scottish countryside easily reached by car - Loch Lomond not far away.Hillwalking, mountain biking and plenty of golf courses available just out of town.
Glasgow has Royal Concert Hall, many theatres, movie theatres and football clubs - including Rangers and Celtic

Something about ourselvesRetired attorney - worked as in house counsel with British Broadcasting Coprn - also have been part time legal academic at Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities - both of which are close to apartment.
Now in mid 50s, just retired and wish to see foreign places at leisure rather than usual sightseeing rush on brief holiday.
Interested in places which have reasonable weather in months October to March.
