Description of our house
New 3 bedroomed apartment on 2 floors with balcony, 2 terraces plus roof terrace with sea and hill views. 3 double bedrooms plus lounge with bed setee and chair bed. UK Sky TV, broadband internet, DVD and music centre.
Use of 4 gated pools with card access. This is our holiday home which we love and lived in for a year in 2007.

Our neighborhoodQuiet, friendly neighbouhood in Cabanas, a Portuguese fishing village near Tavira in the Eastern Algarve. There are many excellent restaurants and shops locally. Within easy walking distance is a lagoon beach with fishing boats moored. The main beach is accessed by a ride in the fishermans boat. It's an all year round destination with hot summers and mild winters.

Something about ourselvesWe are Carole and Richard, a semi-retired couple currently living in England. We are offering our second home in Portugal for a home swap.
We are happy to arrange a non-simultaneous exchange if preferred.
Our daughter Vicki & her friend Amy hope to travel from September 2008 to March 2009 posibly using our apartment for accomodation swaps on the way.They plan to visit Florida, New Zealand,Sydney & Melbourne.
We rent the apartment out from mid July to August in the summer so exchanges for this time are not really possible.At the moment we are fully booked from 08.06.2008 to 24th August 2008.
We are also arranging a trip to New Zealand & Australia,Reaching NZ in November 09 then Sydney in November & travelling up the east coast to Cairns.We then want to visit the Red Centre & go on to Western Australia.We are looking for accomodation there from the end of December 09 onwards.We have friends in the Kingsley area of Perth who we hope to spend Christmas with, & then would like to stay in WA for January through to April 10.We don't mind having several exchanges of a few weeks each to achieve this.
