Description of our house
[
![]() ]
Our house is located in the gated community of Canyon Woods just outside the city of Tagaytay and overlooking lake Taal and the Taal volcano which is in the lake itself. At present the Taal volcano is considered active but of little danger to the local communities. Our home is a beautiful, spacious, and serene country home. It is a peaceful place to relax. There is a great view of Lake Taal and the Taal volcano. The clubhouse is only a block away and that includes indoor swimming along with a spa, a salon, dining, and fitness center. There is a nominal charge for the use of the clubhouse. There is also an outdoor pool facility with basketball courts, tennis courts. There is a nine hole course in the community and an 18 hole course in the nearby community of Splendito.

The Community of Canyon Woods is made up of mostly professional folks and business people. As these are generally second homes for most, traffic is lite and life is slow. Manila is approximately 2 1/2 Hrs away. This is a mountainous area and much cooler than Manils and its suburbs. Canyon Woods has its own web site for further exploration. ![]() Something about ourselves

My wife and I live in Florida USA now and have two children 13 & 15. They both attended school in Tagaytay for a year. My wife is a Filipino and I, an American. We visit often as her family is from Lingayen and they love big gatherings. We don't get to use the home as often as we would like, hence our willingness to give others a chance to enjoy the beauty of the area and the culture of the Philippines. ![]()
