Description of our house

We offer our summer house (110 m2) situated peacefully and with beautiful views of the sea, 200 m to a landing stage, boat house and beach. The house is modern, light and comfortable and has two floors. Ground floor: Two double bedrooms and one bedroom with two beds. Bathroom with shower. Large living/dining/kitchen area where all the family can eat. It has French doors leading to a large terrace overlooking the sea. First floor: Two bedrooms with two beds and living room. Behind the house there is a a lot of trees and grassy area with a large stone terrace with a barbeque ideal for evening meals. The sun sets at 8.30 p.m in July, giving the special Scandinavian light to the evenings. NB!

Our house is situated quietly among a few other summer houses. It is situated one hour by car from Oslo (Torp) airport. There are nice tracks for walks along the coast and also to a small lake in the inland. It's a beautiful golf course just 500 m from the cottage. Tennis and different kinds of children parks are also available in the area. It is 5 minutes by car to a marina and 2 food shop, 15 minutes to shopping mall. Two restaurants are close - 5 min by car. One hour away you can visit the small coastal town Kragerø, Risør and Tvedestrand. The Norwegian artist Edvard Munch called the nearby small town of Kragerø as "the pearl" amongst the Norwegian coastal towns. Offshore from our summer house lie the beautiful archipelago consisting of hundreds of islands and skerries, which is considered to be unique in Norway. It is just a two hour drive to Norway's capital Oslo with art museums, our new opera house and the interesting Nobel Peace Centre among other things. The house is ideal for nature lovers who want peace - and at the same time explore the small coast towns with small museums/art exhibitions and summer concerts. Something about ourselves

We are a friendly family of four. Jon is (47) and Kristin (47) work as consultants. Our sons are 15 and 13 years old. We are tidy an well organized and will take good care of your home - and we hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.
