Our home has all facilities and great lighting. There's a terrace and garden at the back, where the sun enters in the morning. At the front of the house, there's a balcony were we enjoy afternoons and the Norwegian late sunset. The house is situated a few minutes walk from several beaches, with a glimpse of the sea, in a popular holiday area. Safe & secure in a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood.
Kitchen refurbished 2012 and has most modern amenities. Cable TV and wireless internet (bring your own laptop / phone), as well as Wii and x-box. Washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher.
There are three/four bedrooms; one with a master bed (180cm), one with a daybed that turns into a comfortable double bed with two regular mattresses(total 160cm), plus two rooms with single beds (80 and 90cm). The bathroom was renovated in 2009 and has shower/bathtub/wc. There's also a small separate WC.
The garden has different levels, a sandpit, swing and trampoline, as well as fruit trees. Two adult/junior bikes + one childrens bike available. Our home has all facilities and great lighting. This is a small village where people come to spend their holidays. In winter, it's relatively quiet and offers a postcard setting for Christmas. From Easter onwards, people from nearby cities (f.ex. Oslo) start making their weekend get-aways or summer holidays. Our hamlet consists of four year-round homes and a few cottages. It's situated a five minute walk from the beach, between the towns of Moss and Fredrikstad. There are plenty of walking/hiking opportunities, all kinds of skiing, lakes or the sea for canoeing, as well as pictoresque biking routes through forests and along the seaside. The fiord of Oslo is famous for its great fishing opportunities and unique marine landscape.
Fredrikstad - a town of 72.000 inhabitants and more than a thousand little islands - is well-known for it's film and cultural life; this is the home of Hollywood director Harald Zwart. It's about 20 mins by car from my house. For information about the town, check out this link:

Oslo is probably the greenest capital of Europe, although it tends to pride itself mainly on being a coastal capital with a thriving boat life. You'll find a variety of museums, galleries, restaurants and parks, as well as the nature on your doorstep. This is also home of the Nobel Peace Centre.
There are three airports not far from here:
Oslo Torp Sandefjord (1h20min) - Ryan air + ?
Oslo Gardermoen (2h) - all companies

I am a single mother of two well-behaved boys aged 8 and 16. I am an anthropologist and my great interest in getting to know new places and new people is shared by my sons. For holidays, we prefer sunny and warm places! Our number one activity in winter is skiing. During our summer holidays, we like be able to go swimming, as well as visit adventure/amusement parks, aquariums, motor activities etc.
