Our home is situated in the most popular and exclusive area in Belfast - BT9. We are within 100m of big family park, shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, art galleries and bars. It is a vibrant and fun area to live. Great access to the main motorway - 1 mile away - which takes you to both the north and south of Ireland. Belfast City centre is a 20 minute walk away or 5 minute bus ride - with further access to cinemas, museums, art galleries, opera house/theatres, great shopping, nightlife and much more. Good access to bus and train links and boatsover to the mainland. Both of Belfasts airports are a 20 minute car journey away. Of note 2012 is the 100th anniversary of the Titanic which was built in Belfast. This is an exciting year for Belfast with lots of events to commemorate this important landmark. Neil and I are 30 years old and both medical doctors. We are taking a year out of our training to further our careers in Vancouver and as we have never been there we thought a house swap would be a great opportunity to really see what it is like to live in Vancouver. Our house is our first home as a married couple and a labour of love. We designed and renovated it ourselves, moving in the day after we got married two and a half years ago. We love our home and we would treat an others home as if it were our own, understanding how important that is. As we are very active and outdoors people our house is in a great area for sports such as tennis, golf, swimming, biking, walks, canoeing, rugby, football (soccer), cricket and much more. ![]()
