Description of our house

The house was originally built in 1948. We carried out a major renovation project in 2003 adding a new kitchen and sunroom/dining room as well as replacing the garage. The house has a kitchen, utility room, sunroom, split level lounge, two rooms equipped as offices with broadband, shower room/ toilet, large hallway and garage on the bottom floor. There are four bedrooms on the first floor and a bathroom/toilet. Outside there are extensive gardens to the front and rear of the property. The house has unhindered views over Belfast Lough.

Situated in a quiet neighbourhood the house has unhindered views over Belfast Lough. Close to the M5 motorway, it has easy access to both the George Best City Airport and Belfast International Airport (25 mins). Belfast is approximately 5 miles away. The North Coast including the Giants Causeway is accessible within an hour's drive, as are the Mourne Mountains. A large variety of shops are located less than a mile from the house. We are Anne and Gregory, a married couple in our late fifties, with no children but two cats. Gregory is a senior education officer with an education authority and Anne has recently retired from the school inspection service. We enjoy travelling and have had successful exchanges to Canada and France.
