Our neighborhood
We live in a quiet cul-de-sac in the south of Christchurch next to a beautiful quiet reserve with a stream - bliss! It is only 12 minutes from the city centre and 10 from the lovely countryside of Lincoln. It's a great place to live - lush and green with the odd sheep and cow. We are fortunate to be able to live only an hour and a half away or less from most of the great holiday destinations - ski fields, natural hot pools, whale watching, beaches, snow-capped mountains, rainforest and mountain hiking trails - there are many possibilities to suit all types of adventure seekers. I am a Scot, married to a Kiwi and we have two sons. We are both teachers - my husband teaches primary school and speaks Japanese, Maori, French, German, a little Italian.
