Our home is a sunny, warm, condo, situated in a Beach resort 15 minutes drive North of Tauranga - on a peninsula called Omokoroa.
with a large outdoor front terrace with relaxed seating and a 2nd patio & barbecue area, ideal for entertaining. Our home has large rooms with 2 living areas. We live in a village style, quiet community at the end of a culdesac, with beautiful harbour walks and swimming only one street away... 15 minutes drive into the city for walks around the Mount , along the the Strand, & restaurants.

Our village community is only 15 minutes North of Tauranga city and 20 minutes north of Mount Maunganui(1 of NZ'2 premier holiday beach & coast destinations), 1 hour from Rotorua (NZ's wonder Geyserland) & 2 hours from Auckland International airport & city. Tauranga is in the middle of the Bay of Plenty's fruit growing district, with Avocado & kiwifruit orchards plentiful. the golden sands of Coromandel beaches & townships, also a short drive north.
Lovely beach walks with extensive harbour views and sheltered harbour suitable for boating,swimming or windsurfing. Beautiful sunsets over the harbour..
Locally there are several lovely cafes,and the Boat club, with decks and meals served overlooking the water. The local Winery 'Mills Reef' (with it's award winning wines and food) just a 10 minute drive away. We are Jan & Garry......enthusiastic travellers who are now retired and living 6 months of the year in Florida, USA(June thru November) and 6 months in NZ.
We have managed to travel extensively over the past 9 years. Having raised 3 children, we now have 8 Grandchildren and are free to travel at most times of the year. We have a late model Honda Stream 5 door station wagon, which we would also exchange if someone would do the same. We have had successful exchanges to Canada,Vancouver Island, Spain,Italy, Portugal and Florida .
