Taupo is 3.5hrs south of Auckland, centre of North Island,(50mins from Rotorua). Good shopping, lots of outdoor activites, only 1.15hrs from ski fields.

Something about ourselvesMy wife and I are looking to travel for 3 months next year 2009 from July through to approx October. It has been our dream since marrying 25 years ago. We are both in our mid 40's, I am a Banker and my wife a Property Manager. Our adult kids have left home and doing their own thing in NZ.
