Description of our house

Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has a cosy kitchen with adjoining dining room. We have a Toyota Rav 4 x 4 automatic which fits easily within the garage and which also doubles as a laundry room. The Conservatory and deck overlooks a large natural reserve where naitive birds can be seen and heard as well as a fully enclosed back garden.

Our home is in an ideal location as it is close to the airport, city centre, casino, beaches, parks, botanical gardens, zoo and all motorways, making it easy for sight seeing. If you are of an adventurous nature or have children who are, the Sky Tower in the city centre offers bungy jumping. Buses are easily accessed from where we live and there is a large train station in the city. Something about ourselves

We both work in schools. Myself Tony as a school caretaker/gardener and my wife Gloria as an Early Childhood Teacher. We both enjoy travel, animals and sightseeing. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in New Zealand.
