I live in a very comfortable house with a contemporary interior and wooden floors furnished with rugs. It has a fully equipped modern kitchen, 2 separate living areas (1 with open fireplace), 3 bedrooms plus study and a garden sleep-out (with queen size bed). Master bedroom has ensuite and deck aspect. House has easy indoor - outdoor flow, with large north facing deck area for entertaining with outdoor speakers and heater. The sub tropical garden area has a cedar hot tub, and brazier. There is also an upright piano and guitar to be played and a cat to be fed!

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, a fifteen minute drive to the central city and a twenty minute drive to local beaches. A good cafe/restaurant is a 2 or 7 minute drive away. Auckland is a beautiful city located on a harbour with easy access to both surf and safe swimming beaches. There are a variety of outdoor options for those interested including fishing, horseriding, tramping,mountain biking, sailing etc. It is a 3.5 hour drive to the snow. Something about ourselves

I am Jane and have 2 young adults (21 and 19) with a partner who lives in Melbourne. I enjoy art, design, music, food and wine. Before retiring a couple of years ago I had worked in mental health for 25 years as a nurse. I enjoy cooking the outdoors, camping, tramping, the music and the arts. I share a passion for traveling.I am currently flexible for travel options but would prefer to visit Europe/anywhere spring-summer 2012.
